Loucks Associates designed railroad spur tracks for two additions within the Gopher Resource Corporation campus.

One project replaced 600 feet of existing spur track for the remodeled and expanded warehouse, including eight loading docks for direct loading/unloading of the rail cars.

The other project consisted of connecting a new 800-foot rail spur to a 40,000 square foot addition with three loading docks.

Loucks Associates coordinated the new rail spurs, the truck dock locations and new access points to the property. Th is project also included construction of a new access on Yankee Doodle Road, including two turn lanes, medium islands and main road reconfiguration. downloadable PDF
