In order to redevelop their riverfront property into a modern industrial park, the City of South St. Paul worked with Mn/DOT to develop S.T.H. No. 156 through the former railroad yards. Paul McGinley worked extensively with Mn/DOTs district office in establishing and clarifying the position of the rights-of-way through the area.
