ALTA Surveys

The new 2011 ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey standards are now in effect.  These changes became effective on February 23rd, 2011 and will affect how you review the deliverables that professional surveys prepare for you and your clients.

Some of the changes include:

    1.  A revised surveyor’s certification that may not be altered or expanded upon.

    2.  The option to include delineated wetlands on the survey.

    3.  The ability to require professional liability insurance.
